Unless you want to drink your tea standing up in the kitchen, you'll have to drag the pot and cups to somewhere else in the house, most likely on a tray. May as well be a pretty tray. For me, a pretty tray is a mosaic tray.

Ditto for candle trays. And of course for the M&M's there are the bowls...
